Mrs. Edith L. Williams, formerly of 115 Louisa St., wife of the late Sol Williams died Friday at the Harding Nursing Home, Waterville, New York.She was born in Corris, North Wales, the daughter of William and Ann Griffith Williams. She was married to Sol Williams in Utica in 1925. He died in 1966.
Mrs. Williams was a member of the Plymouth Bethesda Church.
She leaves two step-daughters, Mrs. Robert (Anna Mae) Ferguson, Utica and Mrs. Donald (Lillian) Hamlin, Whitesboro; one stepson, Idwal Williams, Utica; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be at 11:00 a.m., Monday from the Williams Funeral home. Friends are invited. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.
