MR. EDWIN "TED" ROBERTS, UTICA, ONEIDA COUNTY, NEW YORK.

New Hartford- Edwin (Ted) Roberts, 80, of the Meadows Apt, 27. A retired choir director and painter, died Sunday, June 25, 1978 at Faxton Hospital.

He was born in Pwllheli, North Wales, the son of Robert and Margaret Davis Roberts.

During World War 1, he was a prisoner of war for 2 years.

He was married to Molly Williams in Utica in 1929.

Mr. Roberts was employed for several years with the Hotel Utica and the Hotel Hamilton. He was a baritone soloist for the former Bethesda Church and the former Haydn Male Chorus. He was a member of the Plymouth-Bethesda Church and the Board of Trustees He was a life member of the Brotherhood of Painters, Decorators and Paperhangers.

Besides his wife, he leaves 2 daughters, Mrs Willam E. (Norma) Neenan and Mrs. Ralph 0.(Verna) Teator, both of New Hartford; one son, Ronald E. Roberts, North Utica: 12 grandchidren; several nieces, nephews and cousins in the Utica area and Livepool, England.

The funeral will be at 10:00 A. M. Wednesday from the Williams Funeral Home with the Rev. John W. Morrow, Pastor officiating Friends are invited.

Interment will be at Crown Hill Memorial Park Calling hours are from 7-9 Monday. Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9. Friends may consider the American Cancer Society.
