Miss Doris Margaret Davies, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Davies, of 1542 Miller Street, was married to Emrys Williams of 1315 Steuben Street, son of Mr. and Mrs. Griffith Williams of 706 Washington Street, Saturday afternoon. The Rev. Robert W. Hughes of Dickinson Street performed the ceremony in his home.Miss Eleanor M. Davies, sister of the bride, and Rody Williams, brother of the bridegroom, attended the couple.

EMRYS WILLIAMS. CLINTON, ONEIDA COUNTY, NEW YORK.
Emrys Williams, 79, of 1522 Steuben St., died Friday, December 16th, 1983 at St. Elizabeth Hospital.He was born in Blaenau Ffestiniog, North Wales, son of Griffith R. and Ellen Jones Williams. He attended Utica schools and was formerly married to Doris Davies.
In 1951, he married Grace Jones Brown in Utica. Mr. Williams was employed for 17 years at the Marcy Psychiatric Center and formerly worked for Foster Bros. Inc. for 30 years. He was a member of Plymouth Bethesda United Church of Christ. He was also a member of the St. David Society of Utica, National Gamanfa Ganu Association, the A.A.R.P., the C.S.E.A., and the Retired Public Employees Association.
Besides his wife, Grace, he leaves a daughter, Mrs. Llewellyn (Barbara) Drake of Melbourne, Fla.; three granddaughters; one grandson; one great-granddaughter; two nephews, Frederick Williams of New Hartford and Richard Williams of Clayville; he also leaves several nieces and cousins, both here and in Wales.
The funeral will be Monday at 2:30 p.m. at the Stevens, Friedel and Williams Funeral Home, Inc., Oxford Rd., New Hartford, with the Rev. John W. Morrow, officiating. Interment will be in Crown Hill Memorial Park. Calling hours will be Saturday 7-9 and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9. Friends may consider the St. Elizabeth Hospital I.C.U. Unit or the American Heart Association in his memory.
