The funeral service for Katie Jones Pritchard, 82, who died Saturday evening at the Eden Park Nursing Home in Rutland after a long illness, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Roberts-Lantman Funeral Home. The Rev. James Hutton of Orwell will officiate. Entombment will follow in Poultney Cemetery with burial at a later date in the family plot.Mrs. Pritchard was born July 7th, 1904, in Dinorwig, North Wales, daughter of Richard P. and Catherine Ann Jones.
She was a member of the Poultney Presbyterian Church and the Willing Workers of the church. She was a former member of the Evergreen Chapter 63, Order of Eastern Star.
Her husband, Emrys Pritchard, died in 1971.
Survivors include a son, Alun Pritchard of Schenectady, New York; two grandchildren, two nephews and cousins.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
