MRS. MORFYDD (MOLLIE) WILLIAMS ROBERTS, UTICA, ONEIDA COUNTY, NEW YORK.
NEW HARTFORD - Mrs. Mollie (Morfydd) Roberts, 82, of the Meadows Apts., died suddenly, at Faxton Hospital.Mrs. Roberts was born December 11th, 1903, in Blaenau Festiniog, North Wales, daughter of the late Rowland and Ann Williams, came to this country at a early age and attended Utica Schools. She was married to Ted Roberts, June 15th, 1929, in Utica. Mr. Roberts died June 25. 1978. She was employed at the Commercial Travelers Insurance Company for many years, retiring in 1969 and was a member of Plymouth-Bethesda United Church of Christ.
Mrs. Roberts is survived by two daughters Mrs. William (Norma) Neenan and Mrs. Ralph (Verna) Teator, both of New Hartford: one son, Ron Roberts. Utica; 12 grandchildren: three great-grandchildren; one sister. Mr. Henry (Elizabeth) Heeley, New Hartford; one brother, Richard Williams, Essex, NY: one sister-in-law, Mrs. David G. Williams. Utica; and several nieces and nephew.
Services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at The Stevens Friedel and Williams Funeral Home, Inc. 13 Oxford Rd.. New Hartford.
Interment will be in Crown Hill Memorial Park. Kirkland. Friends may call Monday 2-4 and 7-9 at the funeral home.
